Specifications
- Listed for
- Toro 21472, in all seven of its serial rangesAll seven listings Toro publishes for this model number are open, and every one of them names this kit.
- Kit contents
- Not published by Toro anywhere we have lookedNeither the parts listings nor the kit’s own product page names a single component. The product page does carry a sentence of promotional description — so Toro publishes prose about this kit and does not publish what is in it, which are different things. If you need to know whether a handle alone will do, that is a question for a dealer.
Selection
Choosing this part
The third distinct part number carrying "traction assist" in its name on this site. The 20334 lists kit 108-8120 for its earliest range and handle 131-4590 for the two later ones; the all-wheel-drive 21472 lists this one in both ranges we opened. Three Recycler mowers, three numbers. Toro does not describe what any of them contains, does not say they do the same thing, and does not state that one substitutes for another.

Toro Traction Assist Handle Kit for Recycler Lawn Mower (Part # 144-6377)
The Toro Company · Primary source · Accessed August 21, 2026
Toro’s product page for the kit, served directly at this number with no redirect and carrying no supersession line in either direction. It does carry one sentence of promotional description, which names no component, no dimension and no machine — so the page publishes prose without publishing contents. Recorded with that distinction because “no description” and “a description that says nothing” are different findings, and only the second one is true here.
