Toro lists 20234 for this range — the Engine Maintenance Kit for Briggs & Stratton Engine, which it itemizes as 20 oz. of SAE 30 oil, a spark plug, an air filter and a fuel treatment packet. In the 316 and 400 ranges it lists 130-8148 instead, described only as containing key consumable service items. So the two cannot be compared on contents from Toro's own pages.

The traction assist part changes at the same boundary, from a kit to a handle. Whether those are the same purchase we genuinely do not know, because We found no description for 108-8120 on any Toro page.

What does not change here: the blade, the drive belt, the rear wheel and the front drive gear are the same in this range and the next. The front gear has its own boundary, but it is one range further on.

The common mistake: Applying the 20340’s pattern to this machine. Both are 22 in. Toros taking a Briggs & Stratton kit, but the 20340’s 316 listing still shows 20234 where the 20334’s already shows 130-8148.

Toro’s product page for the kit, and one of the few in this family that is a page for the number requested rather than for a part replacing it. It itemizes the kit: 20 oz. SAE 30 engine oil (120-3306), a spark plug (120-3305), an air filter (120-3303) and a 0.5 oz. packet of fuel treatment (130-2393). It carries no line saying this kit replaces another number or has been replaced by one. **Re-read 31 August 2026 and unchanged in every particular, including the 0.5 oz.** — which matters, because the page Toro serves for 130-8148 gives the same packet as .05 oz. Two further details this record had not held: the internal designation TORO WPM MAINT KIT - BRIGGS, and a Specifications row reading Service Pack Yes.
