Toro lists 20234 for this range — the Engine Maintenance Kit for Briggs & Stratton Engine, which it itemizes as 20 oz. of SAE 30 oil, a spark plug, an air filter and a fuel treatment packet. In the 316 and 400 ranges it lists 130-8148 instead, described only as containing key consumable service items. So the two cannot be compared on contents from Toro's own pages.
The traction assist part changes at the same boundary, from a kit to a handle. Whether those are the same purchase we genuinely do not know, because Toro publishes no description for 108-8120.

We opened Toro’s parts listings for model 20334 under serial ranges 315000001–315999999 and 316000001–316999999 and compared the full accessory list on each, recording every part that appears in one and not the other. Parts absent from a range are recorded as unknown rather than incompatible, because absence from a parts page is not a statement that a part does not fit.
The common mistake: Applying the 20340’s pattern to this machine. Both are 22 in. Toros with a Briggs & Stratton EXi, but the 20340’s 316 listing still shows 20234 where the 20334’s already shows 130-8148.
