Across the four 21199 listings we opened, the blade number goes 20122P, 20122P, then 20120P, then 20122P again. It leaves and it comes back. Toro lists 20122P — the 15.4 Inch Hi-Lift Replacement Blade Kit — for 400000000–402081999, for 402082000–403599999, and for the latest published range, 414709996–999999999. In between, the 407700000–410243166 listing shows 20120P, the 15.4 Inch Atomic Blade, and does not show 20122P at all.
We do not know why, and Toro does not say. The pages show which blade is listed against which serial range and nothing more. What we can tell you is that no rule of the form "later machines take X" survives this data, and neither does matching on the description: both blades are 15.4 in., both are for a TimeMaster, and two digits separate the numbers.
